RWH Real Time Monitoring

York Region is upgrading the nine foot diameter Sanitary Sewer servicing the City of Pickering. The active 70 year old, cast in place, concrete sewer has been excavated underneath to construct a connection chamber.
RWH designed a complete automated monitoring system with real time data viewing using prisms and strain gauges.
Instrumentation was chosen to provide accuracy within 1mm since 3mm settlement is the required alert level. Readings are immediately viewable online.

RWH Precision Monitoring services include: total station surveying, inclinometers, tilt-meters, extensometers, strain gauges, and piezometers.
RWH provides a custom monitoring system for each project to manage risk, act as an early warning system and protect the surrounding assets.
